Lynda uses words in her books as she uses paint on her canvas, bringing her characters and stories to life for her young readers and whisking them away via their imaginations, to that land where anything can happen. Lynda’s teen novel Awakening of the Dream Riders was published in 2011, as was her first childrens book, Where’s the Magic Wand. Both have received wonderful praise from young readers and parents alike.

Her artistic endeavours have included illustrating her own childrens books and other authors’ too, commissioned portrait and landscape paintings, website and graphic design, and much more…

She is trained and experienced in a wide array of creative outlets from writing and painting to web design and technical illustration. She has developed her workshops with the intention of sharing her experience, techniques, and technical know-how with budding writers and artists.
